While this property is clean and fairly well-equipped, it would benefit from some maintenance and sprucing up. The decor is outdated. The common living room area is very small and not very comfortable. The two TV screens are small and share a remote. The two porches are not furnished very nicely and are not appealing to spend much time on. The view of the river from the back of the house is outstanding. The view from the front porch is very unattractive with a junked car and other visually unappealing things in the back of the house across the street. While there is a grill outside, it's not in a location that you'd want to spend time in. The location is very convenient for walking to the main street of Folly Beach and the beaches. It's also convenient to Charleston and the other islands the east and west of Charleston. The management was courteous and responsive. Communication was very good. It may not be entirely clear from the photos that everything is up a flight of stairs at this property. The two windows shown in the front of the building on the ground floor are in rooms that are not accessible to the guests. I think it's priced appropriately, but feel that it could be made much nicer without much expense or time.
