Located at 412 East Hudson Ave on Folly, This house is just 4 short blocks to the beach (3-5)minute walk or 1 minute golf cart ride. Optional Golf cart is extra rental fee of $70 a day(request at booking). Perfectly located near the park with tennis courts, basketball courts and playground for the kids. Only 4 blocks to Center Street which has a variety of restaurants, shops, bars and more.
Come relax and enjoy the laid back lifestyle of FOLLY BEACH.
Hide away in the trees off the beaten track.: Nestled in the trees just a short walk from the beach you can the enjoy the sounds of the birds chirping backed by the gentle splash of the ocean waves.
Amenities and more: Full kitchen with custom with oak counter tops. Hot tub on deck and Outdoor shower with hot and cold water. We have smart television and a wireless internet connection for you.
Just 10 minutes away is municipal golf course and Kiawahs famous Ocean course and Seabrook are not to much further.

Norman was a great host and easily accessible when needed. The house is very eclectic, but feels slightly cluttered. My only complaint about the property was the cleanliness of everything. But an otherwise great location and great weekend in Charleston

Family Vacation

Our blended family of adults (ages 30+) rented for Memorial Day weekend. We found the home with a nice lived in feel that made you feel welcome. Plenty of seating and sleeping space. We cooked all but one meal onsite and found the kitchen well stocked with everything needed to cook a nice meal. The refrigerator and freezer were spacious to keep our groceries. We enjoyed the games, beach supplies and more that was available. From check in to checkout Norman was wonderful. Would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect Folly postup

We loved our stay- lots of room to hang inside and out. Kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed cooking some family meals. The beach is a few blocks and the property owner provided all the chairs and beach supplies we needed.

Great location with scratch and dent accommodations

Upside: Great location a few blocks from the beach. Easy in/easy out. Downside: Sorta clean (shower curtains moldy, dead cockroaches in the cabinets and floors on check in) and many broken appliances (dryer, toaster, shelves in fridge, no propane grill as listed although there was a charcoal grill to use). Overall, an ok home in a great location.

Not up to par

When warming up the oven on the first day, smoke from oil in the bottom shelf. We had to open several windows and the door. Spent over an hour cleaning the oven. Air conditioning didn’t keep up with the heat in a couple of rooms, furniture was dated and beds were worn. The dryer took 2 or 3 cycles to dry clothes. Dishes, pots and pans look like they came from a thrift store.

Not exactly what we expected

It didn’t seem like the house was cleaned very well before we came. We had 2 beds with clearly dirty sheets, kitchen had sticky counters, and found a few cockroaches throughout our stay. The host was very responsive and friendly but the property was not what we hoped.

Great place to stay near Folly Beach

A group of two families of 4 each met up for a long weekend at Folly Beach. The house had more than enough bed space for all of us and had a great seating area to hang out in. The kitchen had all the equipment that we needed. The house was well equipped and a great location just a few blocks from the beach. We would stay there again and would recommend the house for larger groups of people. We had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful location

We loved the quirky house and it was so close to the beach. My teens loved playing basketball at the park. The house had lots of beds. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed for The Weekend and we enjoyed the front porch. My only complaint would be the showers, hard to get consistent temperature.

This property was quirky and perfect for a chilled girls weekend. The owner was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Plenty of space to relax outside with wrap around porch/hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

My friends and I had a lovely trip, and this house was perfect for us. The kitchen had all of the supplies we needed, the decor was homey, and the house was a short walk away from the beach. The host was incredibly responsive, and got back to me with answers for any questions I had within 10 minutes.

Perfect house for two families with lots of kids. Great location! Norman was very fast to respond to questions!! Lots of different spaces to relax indoors and out. Hot tub was awesome! This is a very family and dog friendly home. Nothing fancy but very comfortable!!!

Eclectic beach home, great location.

Perfect distance to downtown Folly and to the beach. Home was very cute and had great indoor and outdoor spaces. Comfortably fit ten people for sleeping as well as in the shared spaces. AC worked great too!

Perfect beach getaway

I stayed here with several of my friends and everyone loved it. The house itself is really cool, everything is in good shape, the two yards are both great for hanging out in, and it's very convenient to get to the beach and only a short walk from the main strip of Folly Beach. We loved everything about it and Norman was great to communicate with.

The owner responded to our questions quickly every time. There are plenty of linens to shower with just bring towels for hot tub. We did need a cookie sheet and had to make due. Plenty of sleeping room w a tad to spare for the 8 guests we had. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Overall the stay was good.

Family trip to folly

Property was satisfactory for our family. There was limited flatware (insufficient for 10 people), and air conditioning units had difficulty keeping up with the outside temperature. There were other people (unknown) on the premise (presumably the owner). Cleaning could have been better and towels for bathing were limited. Communication prior to our stay was outstanding and owner was very accommodating.

Loved it

Perfect fenced in front yard for a getaway with pets. Not to mention the virtual playground in the backyard for kids with a hot tub, fire pit and mini climbing wall. The unit is beautiful with a decked out kitchen great deck with couches to lounge on all day in the shade. The garage is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and lots of other beach necessities. I’d book again!

Back Yard

I enjoyed the location of the property. My one complaint is that the back yard is not completely fenced in. I asked the owner specifically if this was the case, and he said "yes". Upon arrival, I found that this was not true. The owner quickly responded to my request and we barricaded several spots to prevent my dogs from escaping.

Great vacation spot

We had an amazing time. This was a perfect house for the 9 of us. Very close to the beach. The house itself has a great beach vibe. We would definitely stay there again. One of our favorite trips to Foley.
