Great amenities with the owners being on-hand for any questions, local knowledge and recommendations.Finishing of the fixtures in the property were great and plenty of space for a family and couples alike.Parking space also at front of the property which is a big bonus.Would certainly recommend for anyone looking for a break to the area.Will certainly be back ourselves. »

« Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away...

« The host is on hand and helpful, advised us of great local walks, which we would have been unaware of. An immaculately clean and comfortable property. Our dog was welcome. Great to see the local wildlife - bats flying around in the evenings, in addition to birds and the hosts own sheep at the bottom of the enclosed garden. The only slight negative comment is that we found the WiFi was slow. Would definitely choose to stay here again. »
