'We had a really nice stay at Thistle House Guest House. We received a very warm welcome by Sue and her sister in law. The house itself is well maintained and breakfast was plenty and delicious. Can only recommend, especially if you are looking for somewhere quite with a great view. '

'Small scale Bed & Breakfast overlooking Tarbert harbor. Nice rooms, with a smallish but complete bathroom. Alistair, our host, cooked us a lovely breakfast. Excellent starting or finish point for the boat trip to/from Islay.'

'Beautiful scenes of the sea and mountains from the breakfast room and bedroom. Nice room with ensuite bathroom. Only the wifi didn't work properly. Lady of the house had tried to fix this, but with no luck during our stay. '

'B&B ligt aan drukke straat aan de rand van Ayr (niet te lopen). Geen ontvangst, maar notitie in hal. Ook later wordt je niet begroet. Kamer en badkamer ok. Goed ontbijt, maar eigenaren afstandelijk. Restaurants op 20 min wandelen in Prestwick.'
