Pros: kind host, beautiful view, relaxing setting, spacious, and lots of amenities. Cons: very dated furniture (not necessarily in the cute way you expect at a bnb), musty smell, cob webs, lumpy mattress and old, scratchy sheets, poor shower pressure, stained, old tub.

AC not working. Windows couldn’t be opened. Smelled stagnant. Not satisfied. Place needs updated and more attention should be paid to satisfying the customer. For what I paid, I expected more.

We actually did not stay at the Rivers Edge. The place was beautiful, and the owner very nice. But, to get to the room you had to go up an outside flight of steps that was too steep and too long for my fiance. I also had to take my time getting up them. There was no alternate access. We did not stay and had to find another place to stay. And most places were booked. We did not realize about access problems before we arrived.

Interesting place, quirky might be the best way to describe it. Staff was quite friendly and easy to work with. Could use a detailed spring cleaning, but not dirty by any measure. I'll probably stay there again.

Best Deal In Tiffin

For what other chain hotels get in Tiffin, this is a steal. More room, comforts of home, and I hope it remains the town's best kept secret!

outside stairwell

I wish I had known that access to the room was via an outside metal open stairwell on the side of the building. The room could have used a good dusting and cleaning. The air was musty when we entered until we turned on the air conditioner units in the bedrooms and living room.

Nice suite.

We enjoyed our brief stay. Very comfortable suite. In the evening, after our tiring day, we decided to get a carry out dinner and relax by eating at the dining table in the room. We especially liked that seeing the river from the living room. We went out, sat along the river edge and watched a blue heron walking in the water looking for a fish. He didn't get one so he flew off. A good place to stay and excellent service. Thank you Janet

Pleasant Surprise

With the name Rivers Edge Executive Suites I expected a hotel or motel. Pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a bed and breakfast and not just a bed or bed en suite but a full kitchen, bath, and living room. It was nice to be in a very quiet location. Having free wifi is always a plus these days.

Winter Wonderland

I would recomend light packing. You have to walk up a very high outdoor iron staircase. Very classy continental breakfast. Enjoyed imensely. Raised our Christmas Spirit! Will book again!

Quiet & Peaceful

Quiet, peaceful, and very nice sceneries. Just what I needed. Everything you would need to call home away from home. The hostess is a very pleasant woman who welcomed me very warmly after a hectic 2 and a half hour drive. Plenty of coffee and tea was waiting for me in the 1 bedroom suite I had reserved. Plenty of books and magazines to read in a nice and comfortable living room. I have stayed at the hotels in this area and decided to try the bed and breakfast. It was a very delightful difference.

Wonderful Place to stay

My daughter and I loved the location, the view, the innkeepers, and the suite. The breakfast was fantastic! The elegant touches in the room and the amenities put this B & B on par with big city 4 and 5 star hotels. Highly recommend it!

The River's Edge - Quaint B&B along Sandusky River

What a great treat! We were warmly greeted at our car when we arrived and given a full tour of the grounds. Once in our suite, we immediately felt at home. Accommodations were comfortable and quite scenic. The breakfast is like none other we have ever had at a B&B. Wonderful, fresh and very delicious served right to your room. We will plan to stay at The River's Edge again!
