'My first expression was the hotel staff being honestly friendly not fake or because it is part of their job. In the hotel, restaurant and beach everyone is helpful and correct. I felt really good high quality instead fake chic. The hotel itself, location and the especially the beach breath taking because of the clean water and special sand on the beach. 'The hotel Layla Gocek, is a hidden jem, it is a little bit of paradise on the outskirts of Gocek. It is a family run establishment and you feel like part of that family. The outside gym was great as were the 2 lagoon pools, the swim up pool bar was an added bonus. The whole establishment was being continually cleaned. You could have been in Thailand or Bali, everyone was amazing. We will definitely be going back and my advice is.... Try it yourself. '

'Als je vroeg moet vliegen boek dan hier je laatste nacht. Prima bedden, mooie badkamer, brandschoon. Gratis gebruik hamam en sauna. Dinerbuffet voor een tientje extra. Ontbijt begint pas om 7 uur, voor ons helaas te laat. Zou zo weer boeken.'

'Beautiful place made even better by the attentive staff. They made us feel at home and really looked after us. Was such a relaxing stay and the lady who looked after us throughout our stay and her husband the chef went above and beyond, they turned this gem of a place into a diamond and can’t thank them enough.'
