'I LOVED the Scotia Lodge, beautiful, clean, comfortable, friendly staff. The town feels ‘odd’-abandoned. It is an old “company town” with limited residents, services. The scenery is beautiful there ARE bigger cities nearby. If you are looking for some peaceful, relaxation this is your place. '

'We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...

'Wonderful victorian hotel in a charming small town that brings you back in the earlier days. The hotel also has a restaurant. We enjoyed the ribbs with a bottle of red that we finished by the fireplace. Would recommend hotel/restaurant as well as a visit to this charming town of Ferndale.'
