However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. Additionally, the electricity appeared to be a bit rigged as there were adapters plugged into surge protectors. At one point the breaker tripped, but it was handled expeditiously. « Property was fine but there was no writing desk in the room so no good for a professional visitor. Also awkward to get coffee in the morning as nothing was provided in the room itself. Distance from Metro another disadvantage »

« The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do. The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night. The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable...

« We loved this rental! It had everything we needed including a lovely kitchen, cozy living room area, 1.5 bathrooms, and beds that were so comfortable! The location is great, too. The neighborhood is lovely. We walked into the city (just under 2 miles) for the museums but it would be a short and easy drive or uber ride in! Hosts were so kind and communicated well. We will definitely be back! »
