Welcome to Poindexter Cottage - 20 Firefly Lane

Beautifully decorated with 2 living areas and a fantastic outdoor space with a ping pong table in the back yard!

This is the epitome of a family-friendly home. With access to Firefly Park and an intimate dining area, the whole family is sure to be pleased! There are 4 bedrooms for ample sleeping space, especially the bunk room with space to sleep as many as 6 kids.

The downstairs master bedroom features a king bed, and a second downstairs guest room that features a queen bed. Upstairs, you'll find a bunk room equipped with full and twin bunk beds with trundles and the fourth bedroom has a queen bed. There is a downstairs living area as well as an additional second living room upstairs. The kitchen area has a dining room table that seats up to six. The home sits right on Firefly Park and has a fitting porch with wooden bench swing and additional seating. The backyard has its own private fenced in area with room to run, use the outdoor ping pong table and light up the charcoal grill.

Poindexter Cottage has 2 guest parking spaces. All additional vehicles can be parked in the public parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.
If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. We had a nice visit to Carlton Landing again. We have rented multiple houses there and this one was very nice too. Some properties don’t have covered parking but this one did, for two cars. The host was responsive and we would absolutely recommend.

Perfect family home in a great lake town!

We rented this home for my family (3 adults and 3 kids), and we had more than enough space. The home was beautiful and clean. The downstairs provided a great kitchen/living space for socializing while on vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and updated. There was also an upstairs living area that was a perfect place for a kid to watch movies in the evening. The front porch opens up onto a park where there are often kids playing and adults socializing. It was a perfect place for my kids to play. The entire town of Carlton Landing is built for families. From the home, you can easily walk to a pizza place, the local coffee shop/meeting house, and the swimming pool, and you can easily access the lake. We loved our stay here and we would absolutely stay again!
