« Great place to stay and perfect for three adults plus our dog. As you can see from the photo, he loved it! The house is wonderfully decorated and the details included made the experience that much more enjoyable! It was very clean with all the items you needed for a weekend stay. There is a rough terrain getting to the house but we didn’t have any issues as we used 4 wheel drive as recommended. We are already planning our next stay at this house or one of the other hideaway options. Can’t wait...

« Sadly, this property didn't live up to how it was presented online. When we got there, we were surprised to find that the property wasn't a house but rather a converted former college faculty housing unit (this is problematic because we travel with our dogs). The housing unit sits on the former Sue Bennett College campus and some of the buildings are vacant and run down. « This apartment was perfect for my husband and I and 2 adult children. It was right downtown Cumberland Gap with great views and a cute patio to enjoy morning coffee. It had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The hosts was easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. »

« This property is in the perfect location for getting to so many trails! The size was just right for 2 of us. The colors & decorations are so bright & cheery. She has literally ANYTHING you would need! It’s so nice to come to a place that thinks of things the guests may have forgotten. ☺️ It is also super close to a restaurant & ice cream shop which is convenient if you don’t feel like cooking! »

« Great host and hostess. Great apartment. Great price for extended stays. Quick to reply after questions asked. Allows pets and its rare to find a VRBO that does. Have stayed 2 summers at apartment. Good location close to Paintsville Lake State Park and Jenny Wiley State Park. 5 min drive to Dollar General and approx. 15min drive to Walmart. »
