❤️ Renovated with great attention to detail, our large family transformed this historic building into a truly special holiday home. Our goal was to create a place where families, friends and groups can enjoy valuable time together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Today, we are delighted to share the listed heritage Ferienhaus Pape with our guests. When we spend time here ourselves with grandparents, children and grandchildren, we especially appreciate the togetherness under one roof, the large garden by the stream, the peaceful setting despite the central location, and the short walking distance to restaurants, the local brewery and shops.

The picturesque hills and forests of the Sauerland region offer countless leisure activities for all ages throughout the year.

🏡 Historic Half-Timbered House with Unique Character

This detached listed half-timbered house dates back to 1796 and enjoys a quiet yet central location in the heart of Eslohe. It is the birthplace of the well-known Sauerland writer Joseph Pape (1831–1898).

The visible timber framework, both inside and outside, the more than 200-year-old doors and the charming layout give the house its distinctive character. Carefully preserved over many years, it combines historical charm with modern comfort.

A private driveway across the Esselbach bridge leads directly to the house. The traffic-calmed surroundings ensure a relaxed arrival and stay.

Additionally, 3 travel cots (120 x 60 cm) are available for toddlers.

Tourist Tax

The municipality of Eslohe charges a tourist tax of €2.50 per person per night.

Children under 14 years are exempt.
