Blokhutten in Englishtown

'This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music...

'What a beautiful place! The cabin, located just 15 minutes outside of Baddeck, is clean, cozy, and comfortable. There's room for a child or extra guest in the loft, and the kitchenette has everything you need. The view is spectacular, the hammock up in the birch trees is so comfy and peaceful, and there's a fireput to enjoy in cooler seasons. We were so sad we didn't have longer to stay. A blacksmith did a lot of beautiful work on the interior, and the artwork is tasteful and thought-provoking....

'I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very peaceful stay. The location was perfect for a view of the sunset. Unfortunately the night I was there was too cloudy to see it, but the stay was still worth everything else. The room and amenities were very well kept and cozy to stay in. I even walked a short trail that led to a brook (Sally’s Brook) that I don’t think had another access point. I would love to stay here again.'

'This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail.
