« It’s a smallish room, but that’s what we were looking for. This has it all! The room has a smallish bathroom off the corner. Toilet, sink, mirror - it’s all you need. Everything worked as it should. Has air conditioning, but we didn’t use it. Has heat, but we didn’t use it. Has 3 nice windows and blinds. Has a good sized flat TV, but again, we didn’t use it. « This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

« Great location...close to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Acadia National Park. Condo was clean. Check-in codes sent via email. No water views. No dishwasher. Laundry services available, but shared with other tenants. Unit sleeps four; however, with luggage, gear, etc. may be better suited for two adults. At times, airplanes may be heard flying overhead. Overall, though, I would recommend this unit. »

« Nous n’avons que peu dormi 2 jours sur 4 à cause des voisins en party ou arrivés ds la nuit et faisant beaucoup de vacarme ……déplorable ! J’étais sur ce site pour me reposer en vacances et faisions bcp de vélo le jour au Parc Acadia ! C’était magique ! Le BBQ du Mercredi soir à peu de frais était très apprécié ! Nous aurions apprécié savoir qui était responsable de l’endroit pour sentir qu’un responsable tenait compte de la quiétude du site ! Sinon , l’endroit était plus que parfait …..tout...

« Loved being within walking distance of everything in town! We used the car only to go up to Acadia and walked everywhere else. Showers were hot and bed was comfortable. I don’t know if it was the bed or the walking, but it was the best sleep I’ve had in quite awhile. Must be happiness! »

« We enjoyed the community areas for cooking , grilling, and hot tub. We met many people, even a couple from Australia! »

« Staff was excellent both the Inn and the Restaurant. Responsive to our messages and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back in the future. »

« Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. »
