The home is an older lake home, that you can tell has been successfully added onto and renovated over the years to allow for maximum usage. The furnishings are all comfortable and sturdy. We were afraid that thereād be a lot of small, fragile decorative items to put away from our small boys, but pleasantly there were none, and the home was still very pleasing to look at.My favorite part of the home is the deck facing the waterway and marina. That view was absolutely stunning, and weād spend most of our time out there. We did not cook there, but there is a grill for use.My daughter-in-law enjoyed having use of the kayaks, and took our older grandson out on it, which he loved. We had just the right amount of communication with the owner and caretaker, we knew they were a phone call away if we needed them, but yet, we did not see or meet them, which works for us. A negative is that due to the adding on of the home, there is a rather large step up into the kitchen from the main entrance. We feel that could be marked a little better maybe, although that would deter from the look of the home, so I get why it is not. All in all, my family and I enjoyed our stay in the Cove on the Waterfront, and I highly recommend it to any other potential guests. Enjoy!
