'For 8 days, Villa Anaima had a soothing and relaxing effect on our family. We were able to forget the troubles in the world to relax in the pool, on the porch and in the beautiful open air living room. 'The property is exactly as it looks from the picture. The view takes your breath away. Giovanny is really responsive and we got all the help we needed. The location is really convenient, close to small shops and restaurants. Juan Dolio is not as developed as other areas in the DR but it is ideal for families or if you are looking to relax and regenerate. Really happy with my experience.'

"The rooms are unfortunately not worthy of a 5-star rating. However, the rest of the hotel certainly is! We arrived in the evening and were given a room on the ground floor. As mentioned in previous reviews, the bathroom ceiling was moldy. Water was leaking from the apartments above into our bathroom. The next day, we requested a different room. After a lot of insistence, we finally got another room at the end of the day. They acted as if they had never heard of the leakage before… Instead of putting on this act, they would be better off investing their energy into renovating the entire ground floor. Other than that, the hotel is definitely recommended due to its great service and quality food and drinks."
