I reserved through Expedia months before my stay which was for a big BTS concert. I called a week before my stay and spoke with Aldo. He told me he was not able to confirm my reservation because it was BTS weekend, however, I had made reservations a day before the venue I could be okay but, not sure I would get a room. I reiterated that I had my reservations months prior. I arrived at Ted Roof Inn West and spoke with Aldo. He asked me to come back at 3 pm, however he could still not guarantee me a room, even though, I had reserved months prior. Two women arrived and Aldo held their bags until their room was available. I was there and asked Aldo, I can leave my bags here till check-in??? He stated no, but had done so for those two women as a courtesy but, did not recommend for me because my luggage would not be secured. Again, he led me to believe my reservation booked in advance was not a sure thing. I felt he used these scare tactics to have me offer him money. He kept saying, you booked through Expedia??? Did you pay??? Why did it have to be so complicated. When 3 pm arose, other workers came in to fill the reservations and Aldo crept into the background. The other workers took care of business and I got my reserved room. Before that, Aldo acted as if I was at his mercy for a room. I was so disgusted with him and I will never travel to El Paso again or book with Red Roof again!!!!
