'This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. 'Ich war in Begleitung von 6 Erwachsene für nur eine Übernachtung mit Frühstückt in der Posada ecológica la Abuela gewesen. Wir hatte Hütte #14 für 7-8 Personen. Alles war sauber, klimatisiert und ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick ist gigantisch und das Wasser der Lagune schön warm. Gerne würden wir uns das nächste Mal mehr Zeit hier niederlassen. '

'Een mooi, fijn en klein hotel. Aardig personeel. Het hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum. Overdag is het makkelijk te lopen. 's Avonds hebben we een taxi terug genomen, is ongeveer een euro voor twee personen. Wij vonden het een aanrader.'

'Hotel Boutique Mosaico was a very pleasant revelation. HB Mosaico truly lived up to their reputation. It was exactly as you'd expect from this category and caliber of stay. The place was Amazing. Very well decorated, very open spaces. Fantastic atmosphere. Great breeze. Lots of natural light. The pool temperature was refreshing but not shocking. It was a Great space for relaxing and cooling. Breakfast...???!...Very much an Authentic Traditional meal, with "Gallo Pinto", eggs, and fried sweet...

'We had a great time at Estrada. It’s a small cozy property with a beautiful courtyard. The rooms were nice with a mix of modernist and colonial vibes. Breakfast was great. They lady who served breakfast everyday is amazing. Property is right behind the cathedral so you get the quietness as well as easy access. '

"Eén nacht verbleven i.v.m. een hele vroege ochtendvlucht. Prima hotel: schoon en netjes. Het restaurant was nog gesloten voor ontbijt maar ik kreeg en ontbijtbox mee. Voor de luchthaven hoef je alleen maar de weg over te steken. Dit hotel is een aanrader! "

Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. When we arrived on December 14 around noon, the gate was closed, while there is no name sign nor anything else that indicates the existence of a hotel. It looks like private property from the outside. I tried to cancel the reservation, but that was not possible on the day of arrival. We went to look for an alternative place. The next day, after an unsatisfactory phone call with the owner who maintains the stand that the 'hotel' is functioning normally I decided to investigate the place a little further. US$ 65 was booked off my credit card because of a No-Show. I talked to the housekeeper who allowed me in and showed me around. I have made nice photoshoot of the place so everybody can judge for himself. Please note the first picture that shows the entrance. If you zoom in on the wall left of the blue gate you can still more or less decipher the painted over sign "hotel Selvazul". The last picture shows you a table full of mice excrements if you zoom in a little. "
