'It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it! 'We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout...

The room and bathroom is very large, comfortable and has everything you need, and special treatment that exceeds anyone’s expectations. 'The unit is just off the main street (Maine Street) in Brunswick, close to Gelato Fiasco and Frosty's Donuts but not so close that you hear traffic. It's clean, with plenty of windows. Parking was easy, usually on the street right in front.We didn't need a hot tub or laundry, but if those were on the property, we didn't see them. Bumping our heads on the low angled ceiling on one side of both bedrooms were an issue for both of us.In all, a good deal for a good location.'

'It met our needs but for the price, it was just a bit shy in quality/cleanliness. Nothing super major, but just the little things....The kitchen was good. Check in instructions were clear. '

'Easy check in. Convenient location, nice yard and area for dog walking. Well stocked for a quick stay. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the city was in process of major street project which was a mess and the use of their heavy equipment literally made the house vibrate. '
