'We thought the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was better than expected. The only reason for not 5 stars, is the controls for the A/C in our room were inaccessible. Service from the staff was very good!'

'The place has character, quite old, no elevator, smells musty but in a classic way vs. decaying way. The hallways upstairs had a strong chemical cleaner smell. The room itself was very small but adequate for my solo 2 night stay. The room and sheets were clean. There was a TV but I had no idea what was included or what was free to watch. There was a small pod coffee maker with 2 pods and some powdered creamer and sugars, but again I had no idea if I would be charged to make them. I tried to...

'Had a great stay here! Hannah is absolutely amazing! I was unwell after my flight and needed to stay an extra night. She was caring and great with helping us book an extra night last minute and kept us in the same room so I wouldn’t have to move over luggage while feeling unwell. The room was also great and very clean. Close to lots of businesses and the highway too which is nice, but there’s no highway noise in the rooms. I would for sure stay here again!'

'The bed was really comfy, the price was good at $130 a night. Came for softball tournament with my daughter. Staff was nice but hotel was really run down and didn't feel safe in the area. Lots of noise from the highway and thin walls so heard creepy guy upstairs with a hooker. Door dead bolt lock was broken and outside of door was broken and looked like someone had broken into room bent door frame, TV was working but kept shutting off due to someone trying to hack into the wifi with there phone...

'All the details of the renovation of this old hotel (oldest hotel in British Columbia) have resulted in a charming, pleasant and interesting place to stay. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was charming. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. '

'It was such a clean and amazing place to stay for such a cheap rate. The staff were so kind to us and the free breakfast was really good with all the options given. This is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget and want somewhere that is quiet, clean, affordable and nearby some good food places.'

'Suite was adequately clean and tidy but the yard was overgrown weeds and grass, stuff lying around. Expedia ad is not clear that the price listed was for 4 people in the 6 person suite. We were charged extra for 6 people in a 6 person suite. Fair charge but not clear in the ad. The fold out couch bed was broken so did not fold out, one person had to sleep on the couch. Sheets and pillowcases for the couches were not in the suite we had to ask for them. Ad says kitchen which was well supplied...
