'Amazing accomodation, Wendy the host is so welcoming and the Barn was perfect Ample parking, lovely surroundings, fantastic wi-fi . The accommodation is so clean and finished in a high standard. Upon our very late arrival Wendy was there to welcome us and provided a welcome basket and Prosecco. All rooms are superb inc bedding and towels and living space so comfy. Kithen is fully equipped and huge. Perfect for a wkd away or longer. Would highly recommend and will be back if we travel up North...

'A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. '

'Fantastic cottage with amazing views. The cottage has almost everything you need making it a very relaxing experience. Fields as far as the eye can see. Farmer Andy and his cows are very friendly. We had a very small problem and it was sorted out very quickly. '

'We had a lovely weekend at Ashlea. The cottage is well equiped & feels like a real home - very peaceful, great views & easy reach if Barnard Castle. Great walks from the doorstep. We were made so welcome by Ann, (loved the fresh baked bread & flowers). We will stay here again.'
