We stayed in Penny's studio apartment. She was great with communication and the studio was lovely and clean when we arrived. It is finished to a high standard with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom, however, and it is a big however, the studio was not what we expected. I think that the advert is quite misleading because it does not show you any of the beds - there are no actual beds, they are all 'put-you-up' beds. The main chest bed was generous and comfortable, the futon bed was really only suitable for one person, the air mattress was incredibly hard, so hard that I had to put a soft blanket on it for my 5 year old boys, who would usually sleep anywhere. We think that it is misleading to state that this would be suitable for 5-6 people; our 3 children are 5 and under, and we think any older/bigger would have been pushing it a bit. My husband and I also agreed that we wouldn't want to stay there with other adults, as there simply isn't enough privacy. That being said, it is a lovely studio in a beautiful location, so if you aren't concerned about space/privacy, I think you will enjoy it. Be aware that Tamarron Lodge is a fair way out from Durango, so you miss out on the conveniences that Durango offers. Also be aware that there are no laundry services in the studio itself.
