'This visit was the first time we have stayed at a hotel where there is no staff and we had codes to get into lobby and room. It actually worked out fine. I texted (someone?) and got prompt responses. '

'The Cedar Lodge very close to the waterfall which is plus its 2 minutes from the freeway and 24hour restaurant!'

'Hotel was clean and very new. Wifi was good. Complementary hot breakfast in Penny Cafe next door: we liked it! Staff was very friendly en helpful. We liked the neighbourhood and the charming town of Dunsmuir. We were really surprised! There are some nice restaurants and a brewery pub there.'

'Wonderful cottage that is incredibly private (even though it’s below the home). Well stocked kitchen with good knives and appliances (something people tend to skimp on). We had a wonderful time here and look forward to coming back with our lil’ dog. Host was friendly and communicative- and we had our IRL neighbors in the other unit so it was awesome for shared dinners, drinks on the patio (coffee and wine), and game night. Dunsmuir is a wonderful little town and a nice escape from SF. Can’t wait...

'The best time the place is perfect. The atmosphere is beautiful and the spa was so relaxing. Everything you could like of is there.very clean. Loved the privacy and the gorgeous view. We will definitely be back. '

'Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. '
