Blokhutten in Dunnellon

'The room was dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned. The microwave in the dining room did not work. The breakfast was good, but they have a waffle iron and had no waffle batter. All in all it really wasn’t a bad stay. It was quiet. We got a good night sleep, I chalked everything else up as maybe they were understaffed or we’re just having an off day. I would probably stay there again.'

'Our rooms weren't ready until after 4:00 when they clearly state that check-in is 3:00, so we sat in the lobby for over an hour which put us a real bind for the plans we had when we got to town....and we weren't the only ones. On top of that, the girl at the desk had a terrible attitude, was rude, and simply did not care. She told us they only have 1 cleaning crew and there is nothing she can do. That may have been the case, but that is not the problem of your paying guests. Figure it out! ...

'Fire alarm beeping all night after I asked twice to be looked at. Pool was not available because they said it was too cold. Outdated facilities. '

'This is a cozy and charming cottage. Looks better on the inside than the outside. Loved the dogs and the horses. A bit rustic but I loved it. '

'The breakfast menu was fresh and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was that my GPS let us to an entrance to the hotel which was a ramp and then it had a big drop so I bottomed out my car just letting people know to only exnter off of the highway entrance. There was a caution orange net there but somebody took it down and we arrived at night so we did not see that.'
