« This cabin was perfect for our family for a long weekend. During the day we had access to multiple swimming pools and lake-front beaches, with beach toys and floaties provided in the shed. At night we enjoyed grilling our dinner and making use of the fire pit in the front yard (especially after the kids were in bed). This was really ideal for our first vacation in the Poconos and we would definitely come back. »

« We had a great time at this house. It was a last minute getaway for my wife’s birthday. Debbie the property owner contacted me immediately after booking and made the process so simple. She even bought my wife a cake and left in the refrigerator for us when we arrived! The house is awesome and it is an awesome location. Would absolutely rent from Debbie again. I highly recommended this property anytime of year. »

« The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. Loved it and highly recommend this treasure! »

« The property was clean, checking in and out was easy. We wish we would have known that the bedrooms were as small as they were (the bed is too small for two adults), more blankets on the beds would be good too. Also, propane tanks were empty as a result we couldn't grill or use the outside fireplace (that was a bummer). However, would consider renting it again! »

« For a weekend away it was perfect. The property manager was great with questions. Like we had issues turning on the stove top. And he walked us through it. Only things I wasn't a big fan of the pictures of the basement make it look tall it really wasn't. Perfect for kids area or short adults. »

« My husband and I stayed for our anniversary love the cabin very nice and clean the area right in the woods. We arrived early before check in cabin was ready and J phoned owner she said as long as the cleaners are done you can go in, that was great cause I feel a late check in you actually waste a day. « We stayed here to celebrate birthdays and Mother’s day. The house was clean, gorgeous and nicely decorated with natural wood features. Took pics for myself to go shopping 😃. The hosts Nathan and Kara we awesome, they made sure we had a smooth check in and was available right away if we had questions. The kids enjoyed the lower level space - it was equipped with a huge Tv, games and foosball table. The parents got to have their private space and enjoy a nice dinner in the dining area. Overall...

« My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city. »

« The interior of this house had everything our family needed. The grounds could use some work - unassembled log racks, crushed garbage can, old pier sitting in pieces in front yard. A little effort to clean up would go a long way. Many stairs to the lake shouldn’t be discounted. It was a haul. Not for faint of heart! »

« We had a great stay for my daughter's 16th birthday. The house was exactly what we needed for our family. The game room was awsome!! The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. « Beautiful, peaceful area with the perfect place to stay with a large family and friends. Love the various areas of the home to hang out with tons to do even in the rain.
