Apartman only 250 meters from the sea

Newly renovated modern apartment in Zaton Veliki, 10 km from Dubrovnik and only 300 meters from the beach, has two rooms with very comfortable beds, a living room that can serve as a bed, two spacious bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Guests have at their disposal a balcony and two terraces in front of the house as well as free parking and wi-fi. All rooms have air conditioning. Zaton is a beautiful bay with a 4km long promenade with plenty of places to swim. Only 300 meters from the apartment there are 4 restaurants offering fresh fish and meat and local delicacies. The bus station is 300 m down the road from the apartment, and the airport is 30 km away.

Lovely relaxing Holiday

Apartment was immaculately clean when we arrived, it has very good quality furnishings, everything you would expect for self catering and more. Beds are lovely and comfy, bathrooms are good quality with excellent showers. the outside seating area is very nice with a couple of tables and 2 sun beds and a balcony with a table off the first floor. These areas are shared with the apartment on the second floor but we found this was not a problem as there was always somewhere to sit and eat. The Apartment is towards the back of the village in a quiet location with approx 250 meter walk down a small sloping street to the harbour. Zaton Village is a lovely relaxed location with 4 excellent restaurants and a couple of 'beach bars' we ate in 2 of the restaurants and the quality of the food is 1st class. we also ate in the pizzeria at the back of the village which is also very good. The coastline is absolutely stunning and you can find your own secluded spot on the rocks if you walk through the forest local to the harbour, the snorkelling is excellent. we would highly recommend these apartments, the owners live on the ground floor and are always around to give advice / help if required with lots of local knowledge. We would not hesitate to come back. Thanks again

Great apartment in lovely village

This is a well situated apartment with a short, if reasonably steep, walk to the beach, restaurants and village shop. The apartment was clean, modern and had everything needed for cooking if required. Marijana was happy to give information when needed, from parking in Dubrovnik (£10 an hour in the wrong place!) , to booking an island boat trip for us. We drove along the coast and onto the Peljesac Peninsula but found no better village than Zaton, pretty beaches, active little harbour, restaurants, shop, atm and not too busy. A more active, larger, but touristy town to visit was Cavtat near the airport. We had a great meal sat under an old bridge arch in a river at a watermill restaurant south of the airport,near Gruda ( advertised on main road)- better quality and price than those on the sea front. We were in Croatia for the europe wide recent heatwave (39 degrees in june, unexpected!) but the air con throughout the apartment helped, modern and quiet. The balcony outside was for our sole use, but the raised square seating area was for use of the apartment above, whether this is how it works always I'm not sure, but you do have private space just maybe not all that is shown in the pics. Overall great apartment, great location and enjoyable holiday.

The very best place to stay if visiting Dubrovnik and surrounding areas!!

We had the very best stay in Zaton. This apartment is absolutely beautiful and is everything that is described AND more. The apartment is very clean and modern with all the amenities you need- from a well stocked kitchen, to extra towels and blankets, and even toiletries!! Fortunately we had packed everything from home, but it was really nice to know that we were going to be well taken care of if we happened to forget any essential item. In addition- the beds were super comfy and having two bathrooms was an added bonus! Location: the apartment is very well located, nestled in a quaint, friendly neighborhood right outside the busy city of Dubrovnik (15 minute easy drive). It was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet and only escape to the big city when we wanted excursions or touristy stuff. However, you could easily just park your car for your entire stay and just relax knowing there are four restaurants within 3 minutes walking, and several more within a 5-10 minute drive. Heck- the kitchen was so well stocked you could even cook every night!!! The water and swimming were down near the restaurants (easy easy walk even if you have little ones), and there is even a family friendly walking trail through the forest! But the best was Marijana making sure we had everything we needed at check-in! Honestly- if you heading to Dubrovnik, and this apartment is available- you should book now!! You certainly won’t regret it!! Thank you Marijana for such a lovely stay!

Perfect holiday in a perfect place!

We have just returned from 10 days in Hanas dream places. The apartment was amazing- spotlessly clean and really spacious. There is air conditioning in every room and beds were so comfortable! The apartment is in a fabulous location, really close to a number of restaurants and the beach. Marijana and Vlaho were fantastic! We were picked up from the airport and on arrival at the apartment we were greeted with a nice, cold beer. We had the most relaxing holiday and really couldn’t have wished for a better location, apartment or host. Marijana even arranged our taxi back to the airport. Thank you both for an amazing holiday.

Soleil et plage proche

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans ce très bel appartement moderne bien équipé et bien situé. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Zaton Veliki est un havre de paix, pas surchargé de vacanciers et suffisamment pourvu avec sa supérette et ses restaurants. On peut y passer les vacances sans avoir besoin de voiture si on ne veut pas s'aventurer trop loin. Les bus pour Dubrovnik son à 300m. Avec une voiture, pas de problème pour se garer à l'appartement car il y a un parking (garage ouvert donc couvert). Si vous voulez passer d'agréables vacances dans les eaux transparentes de l adriatique, c est là qu'il faut venir. On recommande vivement.
