Felt like home

My wife & I stayed here while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It was fairly centrally located between the two attractions. I very much enjoyed driving the Kentucky country roads even though I had to go slower since we are not near as use to the beautiful winding hilly roads compared to where we live. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. Much more comfortable than staying in a hotel/motel. I’ll definitely look to see if this place is available next time we are in the area.

Wonderful Place!

This house is a must if you are visiting in or around the Dry Ridge, KY area! It is very close to the Ark Encounter as well as the Creation Museum. It is very clean, well kept, and the grounds are beautiful. We had a chance to meet the owners and they are very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Perfect!!

This house is beautifully detailed, comfortably furnished and outfitted, and clean as a pin! The host has provided every amenity to make our stay very comfortable. As an added bonus, there are more Hummingbirds on the property than I have ever seen together at the same time!! We will look for this house availability first whenever we will be in the area. Sister Getaway

We loved it the moment we walked through the front door. We rented this house to be close to The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum. We were not disappointed. It was cozy, the beds were comfortable, it was clean and the owner went above and beyond in providing the essential(+ )amenities. If we are in the area again, we will definitely see if this property is available.

If you’re going to visit Kentucky, this is the best place to stay.Country setting, amazing view!

Mark and Judy are genuinely kind hearted people!!! Highly recommend this as your to go place! Ark Encounter was ahhh-mazing!!! Scenery and sunset on the back deck were awe inspiring. God’s creation all around! Beautiful birds chirping. Spacious for the family, very clean and well stocked!

Was an extremely nice house very clean beautiful country setting and very nice owner that went out of her way to make sure everything was good. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Ark Encounter as we did only 25 minutes away. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Peaceful and cozy

The property was as described and so much more. It's a comfortable, cozy and peaceful place to stay. Also as described, the roads getting there are long and winding but the views are spectacular. The owners are very accommodating and sweet. They offer items that we have never had offered in other rentals we have stayed in. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. We saw may sites within a 1/2 hour of the property. Definitely recommend Valerie's Place.

Amazing Stay

This property was far more than we expected. It began with a breathtaking drive along a beautiful country road with the leaves changing in all their glory everywhere along the way. It continued with a turn of the knob of the front door where we could see the newly renovated property decorated in comfortable and modern country charm. The visit culminated with five days at all the local attractions such as the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and a tour of the Capitol Building of Kentucky with a visit to Daniel Boone’s final resting place. We cannot wait to stay at this property again when we are in the area. This property is a definite “yes”!

Beautiful, cozy and inviting

We loved this home. They thought of everything and made it very comfortable and cozy. Very clean! Farmhouse decor, only a few minutes from the Ark Encounter and about 40 min from the creation museum. We were celebrating an anniversary, in passing via text I had mentioned to the host. A bouquet of flowers was on the table waiting for us when we arrived.

Beautiful country stay

My husband and I were in Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter with some friends from Canada. This beautiful farmhouse vibe country home was absolutely lovely! You can tell the owners have poured a ton of love into it and making it comfortable for those staying. Incredibly clean and beautiful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It boasts being close to the Ark. it was about 30 minutes away from it and about the same for the Creation Museum. A little further away than we were anticipating, but close enough to make it manageable :) Would happily stay here again!

First communication was top notch! Our granddaughter left one of her stuffies & they are sending it to us! A HUGE thank you for that! The house is just lovely & well maintained. It’s beautiful to sit on the back patio & sip a cup of tea in the morning & listen to the quiet.

Perfect Retreat for our Ark Encounter

We were looking for a place to stay so we could experience the Ark Encounter and we found this little farm house and it was great! This house had everything we needed and then some! The finished basement was a great place for the kids to hangout and play. There is an awesome wooden deck right outback perfect for grilling and chilling! The owners were a text away and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and will definitely be back!
