The Rügen Sail starts here every year in May, opening the season with a round trip around the island. The baroque park of Dranske, once part of a representative estate with a manor house, can be wonderfully explored on a walk. And of course the "Vorpommern Boddenlandschaft" National Park attracts with wonderful excursion destinations - quite a few.
