'Great house!'

'This was our 4th trip to Cape May and our first time at the whaler’s cottage. It was a fun place to stay and make memories with our children and grandchildren. It sits on a quiet tree lined street with an awesome playground nearby. What we liked: There were plenty of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom and outdoor showers were great. The living room is spacious. A laundry room and half bath were conveniently located at the side entrance. The Forte gas range was wonderful for cooking...

'Booked a last minute getaway with the family decided to spend the extra money to be on the water and I am so glad we did. The property feels like home and has a great layout for traveling with kids. 'What a beautiful and super clean home. Communication with the host made everything more enjoyable and pleasant. Host thought of everything possible that we could need and then some. The rooms were beautifully decorated and looked like right out of a magazine. There were extra blankets and pillows in every room. The kitchen and bathroom has everything you need. It was such a pleasure to relax in this home. If you want to fish or crab, they are kind enough to lend you their fishing and crabbing...

'There were four of us two adults and two teenagers and two dogs and it accommodated us perfectly. I loved the touches of the outside shower and foot washing stations at the entrance to each of the decks. The gates were a huge Plus as well so the dogs could go out on the deck and I didn't have to worry about them. It was a short trek to the beach and we had it almost all to ourselves. The owner was accommodating as was the property manager. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Very peaceful ride back to beach home. Check in was smooth and we wasted no time going to the beach which was easily accessible with a nice little path. The water, the sunrise, and quiet atmosphere was so relaxing. Folks in the community were so friendly. '

'We enjoyed our stay at Mermaid cottage. Extremely clean, stocked with everything we needed. Nice to have the bay just a short block away. The screened in porch was wonderful for eating together. Owners were extremely communicative and helpful. Relaxing neighborhood away from the chaos of downtown Cape May. I’ll stay again in the future.'
