Check in was easy. And overall ammenities were appreciated. There were several items out of stock and the spices were out dated. Fenced yard with pets allowed was huge bonus and selling point.
It wasn't the cleanest place. Cob webs on ceiling, cabinets and dishes needed washed and wiped. The floors hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. I actually swept and mopped them once we got settled.
As we were making dinner on the 2nd night (1st night we ate before arriving and we were ready for bed upon arrival) we noticed in the towel drawer in the kitchen, there was mice poop. No huge biggie! There was mice poison in baskets above washer & dryer so there is measures put in place. On the 3rd night after being gone riding all day, we noticed cockroaches on the counter. Also measures put in place as there were traps in and between cabinets.
Overall, we really enjoyed the stay... But the cockroaches turned out to be deal breaker ... We couldn't wait to leave after seeing them.
Before we left, I cleaned the house, again. Minus the mirrors.
If the cockroaches weren't an issue, we would most likely stay again!
