'Positive: literally 5’ walk to entrance of Carcassonne! Car parking was very good and save. Breakfast was in the main hotel across the street with a stunning view of the city as background. 'My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Jean-Paul & Genevieve in their gorgeous B&B. Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. The guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully restored substantial village property, with great comfort and decor, as well as a very refreshing pool in which to cool down. 'Le Jardin d'Homps was the ideal location to explore the region, from the Canal du Midi, to the Cathar historic sites, Carcassonne, Lagrasse, the coast and the many wineries of Corbieres and Minervois! There is plenty to see and do for a week. Many thanks to our wonderful, welcoming hosts who were very helpful with tips for the area and anything to make our stay even better.
