Walk to Douglas Beach! Redwoods Cabin, a Lakewood Lux property

  • Built by hand in the 1930s, Redwood is an authentic rustic property with old-times vibe. With modern amenities and upgrades, Redwood is the perfect getaway that provides a unique cabin experience with all of the expected comforts of home. A large screened porch is the ultimate place to spend time and embrace the location, nestled within mature trees on a large, private lot. Redwood is a quick drive to downtown Saugatuck/Douglas and a short walk to the lake bluff or Douglas public beach.

    A truly cozy cabin designed for outdoor activities and use of an expansive screened porch. Refurbished in 2020/2021, the interior amenities have been updated including bathroom, beds, and flooring. The large lot provides plenty of outdoor space for grilling and seating. In the spirit of modern comforts, WiFi and a 4K Smart TV are present for streaming and local TV access.

This is a charming cottage with all the necessary modern amenities for a lovely stay in Douglas. It is extremely close to water/public beach access and is tucked away in the quiet woods. We enjoyed the screened in porch where we sat and listened to squirrels and wildlife. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway.

The cabin is a little smaller than we expected but very comfortable, peaceful and in a very nice location. The screened-in porch was fantastic and where we spent the most time. A lot of fun things to do and places to go nearby, including the beach and beautiful walking paths.

Fantastic family time!!

We loved this cozy cottage! Clean; very well equipped cottage; beautiful, clean grill; lovely screened in summer porch/room. Everything was great. We made some wonderful memories here. Close to the beach, saw deer every morning & evening, lovely sunsets. I highly recommend this property & Erica was great to work with.

Initial impression was very positive. The property had a great lock that made entrance secure and easy. Furniture was comfortable, clean, and in good condition. Delightful cabin!

We stayed over Labor weekend for our wedding anniversary. The area was so cute, quieter than busy Saugatuck with the most amazing sunsets a short walk away at Douglas beach!

Beautifully located, cozy cabin close to the lake!

This little cabin was perfect for our family. The screened in outdoor room was amazing! The neighborhood was clean and quiet, with a short walk to the beach. The cabin was very clean with all the amenities needed, to include towels for the beach. It was so wonderful! We would definitely stay again!

This cabin is exactly as advertised. It was so warm and cozy and my gosh so clean! It was located close to the warerfront area with the shops and restaurants but also close to the interstate to get to other places we wanted to see. The patio was fabulous and relaxing and the neighborhood quiet and lovely. We saw deer right outside the patio. So awesome. Would 100% stay here again. Our email came from the owner 1 week before the trip with everything we needed to know. What a fabulous trip and a great place to come home to and relax in the evening. Everything you could need was provided inside. Many thanks to the owner for making it so nice for their guests!

This cabin is located on a beautiful wooded lot just a few minute walk to Douglas beach. There was an issue at check-in that Erica responded to and resolved quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Douglas area.

Perfect setting for a family of 4! 5 minute walk to the beach.

Loved, loved, loved the quiet wooded setting. The screened porch was great for morning coffee and family dinners. The grill and kitchen made it super convenient to have some meals at the house. Well stocked cookware. Saugataco is a must!

Wonderful little getaway in a charming town!

My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful time at this quiet little cottage! The screened porch was lovely, and we enjoyed watching the family of deer walk by throughout the day. We loved going into downtown Douglas for dinner. The owner was very kind and responsive, and provided everything we needed. We could not have had a nicer time!

Great Cabin!

This cabin was perfect for what we needed! It was cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. The screened in porch is huge and the yard was perfect for the kids to play in. Douglas beach is a quick 5 minute walk (less than 1/2 mile). We would definitely stay here again.

July 4th Holiday Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet cozy cabin on a busy holiday weekend. It is located on a beautiful, wooded lot with easy access to Lake Michigan. The home is clean and very comfortable. We made use of the screened porch and outdoor gas grill. Our host Erica was very communicative and friendly. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommend this for a holiday getaway!

This is the most charming, sweet spacious little cabin. Quiet and cozy. Super clean. Huge screened in porch with sitting area and table. Beds very comfy A doe and two fawn frequented the yard. Cannot wait to come back!!
