'We had a wonderful stay, accommodation very comfortable warm and cozy. The most amazing serene place with spectacular views of the mountains. So quiet, no noise at all. We watched the fantails. The stars are so bright as there are no street lights. We will definitely be back. Wendy and Mark.'

'We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right.'

'Simply superb. Excellent quiet, convenient location a short drive from Oxford with its supermarket and small high street. Plenty of options to walk at the seaside, the mountain tracks or visit Christchurch. Property is well equipped with the lovely host plus family and animals living next door. Recommended. '
