'The host was helpful and quick to reply when we had questions. Unfortunately, we could not stay at the property. We arrived around midnight, but still elected to drive a half hour to find a hotel. There was no outdoor lighting, no discernible driveway, and no keys or key code to get in the house. The host had told us in advance that the back door had no lock. I don't regard our family has picky when it comes to cleanliness (we grew up in and around farms), but when you pay this amount of money...

'Very peaceful location. Loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs and watching the river!The chalet was very clean, and we liked the layout. The windows looked out to the river which was a beautiful view.We are hoping to make it there again.'

'A friend and I needed a quiet getaway and this place was perfect for it. We originally planned to continue hiking some local trails, but were honestly grateful for the unpredictable stormy weather that gave us a great excuse to stay in and enjoy the cottage. We played Sorry!, cooked a few meals, watched a little Netflix and just caught up. Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood and more space than needed- we didn’t need the bunkhouse with just two of us. 'I traveled with my dog and was with her 100% of the time. The owner claimed my dog damaged his property -yet didn't even state what damage was supposedly done. Clearly, he was just trying to milk me for more money. I highly recommend staying away from this property. Frankly, the amount charged was way too much to begin with. Stay here at your own risk.'

'The cottage was cute and clean. There were extra blankets and a lot of items that are not provided in most rentals like toilet paper, paper towels, sugar packets, other seasonings, etc. There was also a water dispenser which was great! I could mot find the hair dryer and the ice maker smelled like mildew so I didn’t use it. All around great stay.'
