« We had a very nice stay at The Guides House and would not hesitate to book there again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out to him. The house was both clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the lockbox but with a little perseverance were able to get it to work. A very positive experience. »

« The house was very dirty upon arrival. All items such as kayaks and toys were all very old and dirty, no work was done upon arrival, floors were dirty, there was a bunch of cob webs in windows. We were told there would be toiletries and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. « The room was very attractively decorated and the kitchen well-equipped. I enjoyed reading on the dock in the early evening and having breakfast (such as it was - see below) on the little porch off my room and looking out on beautiful, serene Big Moose Lake. I wish I had known the continental breakfast I had read about online was discontinued a couple of years ago after the fire.
