'Charming and quaint home. The surrounding grounds and lake were absolutely beautiful! Easy to get to, directly off the highway, but far enough away to feel relaxed. The host was great with communication. We had left an item behind and he offered to mail it back to us. We would love to stay here again in the future!'

I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. '

'The house did not disappoint. It was beautiful Great view of lake across the street from the deck. Lots of light from the many windows. Bedrooms were comfortable. Only wish is that they had a king bed in the master bedroom and window blinds in upstairs bath. Other wise, the kitchen was very well stocked and everything was very comfortable. Game room was a very nice surprise with a shuffleboard table, foosball table and Xbox machine plus lots of board games. Would definitely stay here...

'We screened properties for pet friendly and this listing came up every time, but we got a call from the owner the first morning telling us they were not pet friendly. The did refund us for one night of the 2 we planned to stay. The property is in a very nice part of Newburgh. When you pull up to the property there are 15cars parked around the yard that aren’t being used, 7 are covered and one is a delivery truck and a limo. 'This was our first ever Vrbo stay and Gisela made it smooth and stress-free from start to finish. She was quick to respond, all pictures/descriptions matched our experience, her instructions were clear and helpful, and the house was clean and quiet. We loved it! Gisela has it thoughtfully setup with plenty of linens, fully furnished kitchen, the deck furniture was clean and ready, and her intentional decor is beautiful which makes the place calm and inviting!
