'Toen we ons meldden bij de receptie was men niet op de hoogte van onze reservering bij Hotels.com. Er was ons geen reserveringsnummer (6 digits) van het hotel zelf bekend, alleen het nummer van Hotels.com, hetgeen onbekend was bij het hotel. Dàt was een teleurstelling. Dat ze daarna nog een kamer voor ons hadden was wel fijn, voor hetzelfde bedrag en hetzelfde type als in de reservering.'

'I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Icis Villas. The units were clean and comfortable, and overall the property had a welcoming and local feel. Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. As the the stay was in February, the night breeze was cool enough to leave off the air-conditioning. I was able to eat some guavas straight off the tree next to our staircase! The property is far enough away from the capital to ensure peaceful...

'WOW! The price we paid for this room is outrageous! This place is terrible. I'd file a complaint to get my money back if possible. Doesn't look ANYTHING like the pics. We were the ONLY people staying at the hotel. It was like out of a bad horror movie. No phone, no TV, no amenities. It was basically a roof over our heads for almost $400 per night!! '

'Leuk hotel, rechtstreeks aan het strand, maar een beetje vergane glorie. Hotel is aan het einde van het eiland Tortola. Dus lange taxirit naar luchthaven en Road Town. Tortola zelf stelt niet veel voor. Op de BVI moet je echt gaan zeilen anders is er verder niets te beleven.'

'Mooie plek, maar onze kamer leek totaal niet als op de foto. Gasfornuis (jaren 60) stond tegen het bed aan. Eigenaar alleen bij c/i gezien. Daarna nergens meer te bekennen'

'The property is beautiful and the restaurant has great food. The room is lovely, but lacks some basic amenities. The coffee maker was only two espresso pods and there were only two sugars and no cream. We had to ask for extra sugar and coffee and were told to go to the restaurant for some milk to bring to our room. We stayed twice, on both ends of our charter and had to do this twice. Also, the pool was cloudy, green and unusable. We wouldn't stay here again.'

'The staff was very helpful in getting into our room. On our departure day they assisted us with getting transportation to the airport. The room we stayed in had a view of the entire bay. It was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of towels, hand towels, soap, shampoo. The bed was extremely comfortable. If we do go back to the BVI we will definitely stay in the hotel again.'
