« We had a lovely stay at Pohutukawa Farm. Pet friendly, though not fully enclosed but our wee dog loved it. Beautiful views, comfortable bedding, good kitchen facilities. Loved the outdoor bath under the stars. Would love to come back again. »

« We loved this property. It was private and peaceful with a lovely rural outlet and some very cute pet sheep. While near the main homestead the set up and positioning made it private with its own parking area and entranceway. A short walk was a paved track which went down to the beach. Stunning views from the top over the bay. We spent most of our time onsite for the 4 days we were there celebrating a 90th birthday and it was excellent to be able to bring my elderly dad there each day for...

« Amazing location with views in every direction. Modern home with everything you need. Lovely shower room and separate toilet. Enjoyed sitting on balcony, bbq dinner and watching the amazing night sky whilst listening to Kia and a kiwi. We drove down to town as it was a bit steep but worth driving around the area as it’s beautiful. Definitely recommend »

« We loved everything about our stay! The unit was clean and beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, including the nespresso and complimentary pods. Best of all was the amazing location so close the beach. Thanks for the booklet with tips on where to eat and walks close by too - we loved this! We'll be back! »

« Great location and had everything we needed for our stay. Robyn was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again. »

« The gardens were stunning. Nice place to sit outside on the deck. Convenient to have washing machine on site and large drying rack in yard. Living room was cozy with lots of seating. Kitchen was well equipped. »

« Stunning stay with family for a winter getaway. This property provided us with the most peaceful, idyllic location with everything that we needed. We found the beds very comfortable, and the shower was excellent (although we did run out of hot water after two 15min showers). We loved the use of the kayaks, too (yes, it was cold!) Overall, would highly recommend this place for a true Kiwiana experience. »

« The location was perfect for our purpose, we wanted to stay near farewell spit to see the takahe. The hosts were very friendly, nice animals on the property and good views in general. It wasn't till we got there we realised the bathroom was in their house, which isn't the kind of thing we would have booked, being more private people. In our opinion it's a bit overpriced for what it is. »
