Our hotel was on the west side, which has brilliant calm, blue seas. They had water sports included as well as all inclusive. Only 2 restaurants on site, but they had a water taxi running most of the day that we could use for a day pass at 4 other Marriott resorts. Many evenings they had live music. « Ai séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel en décembre 2014. Déçue par l'équipement de l'hôtel, piscine très peu profonde. Petite plage. Repas très moyens, pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. En revanche, chambre très propre, personnel très accueillant, et malgré un départ très matinal, un petit déjeuner nous a été préparé. Les prestations fournies ne correspondent pas au prix pratiqué. »

« Tamarind is a good hoteĺ, located on a very nice beach with a lot of of water activitties and animations (music band, dance courses, sightseings tour). Be careful: the hotel standing is lower than described or pictured. Anyway, Tamarind is part of the Elegant Group in Barbados and the management is very flexible to transfer you to an other resort of the Group. We wer moved for exemple to the Colony Club which is up scale. »

« Un séjour très agréable, a commencé par l’accueille de l'équipe de l'hotel. Très chaleureux, agréable. La chambre correspond à ce que nous avons vu sur le site et l'hotel correspond en tout point à tout ce qui a été décrit, un hotel pied dans l'eau. L'environnement très pratique pour les courses et un peu de shopping. L'ensemble a été très agréable, à part le cout de la vie très élevé. A recommencé »

« The hotel does well living up to its leading hotels of the world status. Excellent room. Staff were so accommodating to everyone new me by name and I had an overall fantastic experience. Looks just like the photos and exceeded my expectations. I was a solo business traveler. Will be back. »

« A very good sized apartment, with all the amenities you need, that's within a 10 min walk of the beach, supermarket and bars & restaurants. Great value for money. Just be aware that there is only aircon in the bedroom. The other room (sitting/dining area) does have a fan but it does get pretty warm. But as mentioned, with the price charged, it is not unreasonable. »

« Barbados is a marvellous island with lovely peolpe. Even if Winshelsea guest house is good located and clean I would not recomand to stay there! There is too many rules in this guest house. First there is one chain with a lock at the entrance gate. It's locked anytime and you park your car outside... After this gate there is a very nosy iron gate how creak loud at any passage. There is a shorter way but the guest don't have the key and it's reserved to the worker who clean the rooms....
