'We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. 'Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. 'Excellent stay, my cottage was super clean, had all the necessities including beach towels, soap, coffee. Bedroom came with AC allowing for a very comfortable sleep. Owners are wonderful , very friendly and helpful. '

'Had a wonderful time at the cottage! It was very clean, had wonderful views, and close to everything in the area. Roann was also amazing! Not only did she answer any questions we had but gave us a tour / tasting of the distillery, which we couldn't help but buy a bottle ourselves to have in the evenings when we got back to the house - we aren't typically gin drinkers but we enjoyed this one just over ice! 'Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
