« A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour. »

« Hotel is quite expensive for what you get. Bathroom needs an upgrade water all over floor when showering and very dark with insufficient lighting and very few places to put your stuff. Quite noisy at night quadruple glazing fitted but when closed of course no fresh air. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast could do with kippers on the menu especially being a Manx hotel with wet fish shop close by. »

« The Melrose is similar to other Manx B&B I have used, The property while looking tired and dated is adequate for my type of stay. The Host Peter makes the difference here, very amiable, very helpful, interested in talking to you, serves a cracking full English breakfast, piping hot with great quality ingredients, great coffee too. The room was refreshed every day with tea and coffee etc, plenty too, TV is BBC only tho, bed was really comfy, would I stay again, too right I would, if it works out...

« The Empress is in a great location. The bus stop from the airport is extremely close (4). This id ideal for exploring the whole island. Staff were very friendly, we dropped off luggage prior to check in. The hotel seems to have recarpeted throughout and underlay very comfortable. Room was a Triple as we travelled as a family of 3 Adults. 3rd bed was a proper single not a pull out. Room was quiet, extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast was faultless. We ate on 2 occaisions in the Piano...

« Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff. »

ATTENTION afficher 3 étoiles équivalent 1 étoile France. porte de la chambre de 9m2 avec un verrou cassé, moquette vétuste, lits jumeaux à ressort pourris, salle d'eau du moyen âge. il ne change même pas les serviettes pour un séjour de 4 nuits à 650 €, la honte... La direction me réponds vous êtes en période de TT Monsieur... Payer chère est une...
