'This hotel has old world charm and is located within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the French Quarter. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. We parked at a lot across the street (~$40 day). The area around the hotel itself is what you would expect in down town New Orleans. When we checked in, the staff were less professional than I expect from a 5 star, but that may have been a random occurrence. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you don’t mind a little...

'I paid 600 USD per night for 2 nights. I expect a certain level of service when i check into a Ritz carlton. They use this covid situation for selling their rooms at a high price but strip all the service away. 1) There was no roomservice 2) When we were there there wan't any bar open in the hotel. 3) The safe in the room didn't work and i have been waiting in the room for hours till someone came to fix it. 'The hotel is elegant and professionally staffed. It has numerous amenities which make the stay even more enjoyable. The restraint is exceptional. You cannot get a location in the French Quarter that is more conveniently located. The only negative is that I felt the room was a bit on the cramped side.'

"Convenient, safe, large room and close to everything. Only thing: they should do something about shower. One has to keep the water running for nearly five minutes until it gets warm enough to shower. For a hotel with that many rooms a waste of a lot of water. "
