'Perfect spot for our last night in Ireland. We had a large suite for a family of four. The pull out bed was a little small for two teenagers and the mattress was thin. However, the room was very spacious. Dinner and breakfast were both great. Very good value for money. '

'This apartment was a perfect "home base" for our trip to Limerick. The location was convenient for all that we wanted to do and the apartment was well appointed. We very much appreciated the host's flexibility with an early check in as we had a very long travel day (overnight) prior to arrival. Thank you for an excellent stay! '

'A delightful step back in time while having all the modern conveniences. Cottage was renovated beautifully with every attention to detail and in keeping with its old world charm. Sonia, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to really enjoy the cottage in the evenings around the fire.

'This is a gem of a find. Beautifully fitted out and managed with exceptional care. The facilities in the room and common parts are simply great and nothing was too much trouble. Mitchelstown has much to offer but Birdies is above and beyond.'
