'Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again.'

'The horses cab was very cute and well designed, spotless and cosy.Very relaxing place, the views of waking upIn the morning with the horses are amazing. Also have pigs, a little pony that is very friendly and trots around in the open. Owners were friendly polite and very helpful on call with anything you needed help with. 'Exceptionally clean. I would describe it as a patio rather than a balcony. Lovely and quiet . Cooking facilities are good Extremely comfortable bed . It really is a place where one can completely relax. It could have benefitted from a clothes rail and a set of drawers but would definitely recommend and would happily stay there again'

'Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!'

"Ligt handig op de route tussen Harwich en Holyhead, in een dorpje vlakbij de snelweg. Eenvoudig parkeren op een openbaar veilig parkeerterrein achter hotel. Vanaf 7 uur in ochtend tot avond betaald (3 uur was 2 pond). Je kunt met bankpas betalen. Receptie is tot 23u bemand en buitengewoon vriendelijk en welwillend. Communicatie tevoren en ter plaatse verliep erg gemakkelijk. Het is een sfeervol 'antieke' herberg. Dat is de charme. Dat betekent ook dat bv. de inrichting oud is, ramen niet makkelijk open kunnen en er geen geluidsisolatie is. Ik sliep in een eenpersoonskamer met een groot 2 persoonsbed met fijn matras (er is ook een 1p kamer met een 1p bed). Daardoor was het wel krap. Op 1 plek was de doorgang ongeveer 30 cm. Een twijfelaar zou misschien handiger zijn. Voor lange mensen goed om te weten, dat het een antiek bed met opstaande rand aan voor en achterzijde betrof (waar je dus niet tussen past als je langer bent). Badkamer ook krap. Voor mij, en gezien de lage prijs, te doen, zeker gezien de andere service. Ontbijten kan tot 9u (aanschuiven). Er is veel keus en er wordt iets voor je klaargemaakt. Het enige dat jammer was, was dat het op de kamer warm/benauwd was bij aankomst om 23u (terwijl de buitentemperaturen gematigd waren). Ik kreeg geen raam open en er was geen airco. Wel een ventilatortje die vrij veel herrie maakte. Met oordoppen en ventilator heb ik heerlijk geslapen. Tevoren luchten, raam open en betere/geluidsarme ventilator zouden wenselijk zijn."
