'Perfect location, but rooms desperately need renovation. No safety deposit, no refrigerator and nowhere to charge your phone, laptop etc.near beds. Only one power outlet on the other side of the room. Very good breakfast but only 1 coffee machine! Staff extremely helpful and friendly!'

'Vlot inchecken en nette kamers. Fijn bed en goed ontbijt. Enige minpuntje: douche in de badkuip, daardoor iets minder comfortabel.'

'Hotel zelf was best redelijk, typisch Engels, niet helemaal meer bij de tijd maar beslist niet slecht. Bed was wel een minpunt, hard. Kamer was ruim. Ontbijt prima (tegen 9 GBP bijbetaling). En zeer fijn: goede gratis parking achter slagboom. Gelegen tegenover een kerk met gras. Mijn grootste twijfel was de plaats Grimsby zelf waar dit hotel midden in staat. Wat is dat een enge plaats, vooral als de winkels dicht zijn. Opvallend veel obscure, luide types op straat, en geen politie te bekennen...

'We hebben een week in dit hotel doorgebracht en hebben niets te klagen. Mooie ruime, nette kamers, absoluut niet gehorig en de WiFi werkt er uitstekend. Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. Omgeving is erg mooi, wij komen hier zeker nog terug! Tip: eet bij de buren (Frankie & Bennies!)'

'The location is excellent - so close to the castle and cathedral. There are two very good real ale pubs just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to get free parking the whole of the week. The weather was hot, so air-conditioning would have been nice, although its a listed building so probably a challenge.'

'Room was clean but the wardrobe needed mending. There were also a couple of holes on the window ledges. The room was quite small. It cost me £63 for a night with a shared bathroom and for the cost I expected better. The shared bathroom was the floor below which was too far from the room. Would have been handy to have a sink in the room. It said on Expedia site there was parking but I was not allowed to park in the car park because I only had a single room. If I wanted to use the car park...

'The Crown b&b is a warm inviting, cosy establishment. The owners are very friendly & helpful. There is a small bar area which is well stocked. You can relax on one of their sumptuous sofas. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. Our room covered all our requirements, tea, coffee & water were provided. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was very clean but well used. The breakfast provided was substantial with a full English, cereal, juice and tea/Coffee. We would highly recommend...

'Loads of parking and I was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered the building. I was shown to my room and felt very well looked after. I ate in the restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast and the food was superb!'
