'Excellent hotel with a warm welcome: a personal note, a radio, cookies and a very clean room. Cosy, beautiful surroundings and perfect staff!'

'Was ok'

'very central, cathedral around the corner shopping museum diner options for vegetarian / gluten free are poor. also Colton eating areas quite dirty (sticky floors and tables)'

'Very bad, mold everywhere. Old rooms everything out of date. Not worth it's money. Last time a booked this hotel. It is dirty and disgusting the state the rooms are in. '

'The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have...

'Everything was done with love and attention! The best quality for every little detail. It really felt like home away from home!! The owners were very helpful, the accommodation and garden were well kept and the view from our room (#2) was beautiful!!'
