'I wrote three messages in the spot that said Contact us. Not one response. The thermostat did not work and the unit was freezing. Despite setting it to 22c, the room temp never climbed above 17.6c. (I have a photo.) We could not stand being so cold and booked other accommodation for our second night. The phone number/extension number did not work either. Why would they put us in the furthest possible room from the check-in desk? The beds were comfortable and clean but we had to use the pillows...

'De kamer is werkelijk perfect maar wel lastig om te vinden. Bleek een kamer te zijn in de slaapverblijven van een college! Na enig zoekwerk gevonden en uiteindelijk toch dik tevreden met de kamer, er zijn 2 slaapkamers, een keuken en badkamer! Waar vindt je dit voor dit geld!'

'We travelled with guests from Germany who were interested in seeing the Canadian landscape. They were thrilled with the beautiful views of the river and the woods and the silence. The bedrooms and the bathroom are spacious. The kitchen was a little snug for 4 at the table but it was okay. Everything we needed for preparing and serving meals was available. May was a lovely time to be there, cold, but few bugs, and lots of beautiful wildflowers and birds. I'd love to come back in Fall.'

'The rental unit was as described and was very spacious with lots of room for our family to stay. Being an upper floor unit with slanted ceilings you just have to remember not to hit your head. There is a good amount of stairs that could be troublesome for older clients. But all and all, we had a great stay'
