'The room was very clean and the hotel location is in a peaceful forest 15 minutes walk to McLeod Ganj where the Dalai Lama lives and the main square. The food at breakfast was excellent and you can ask for things like bananas that were not on the table. The staff were attentive. Our laundry service was excellent as well.'

'Personeel was uitmuntend. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hotel is wandelafstand van de winkelstraat en het tempel complex. Schoon en comfortabel. Restaurant serveert een goed ontbijt en avond eten.'

'It was a very wonderful stay very helpful staff and best location'

'Great place for family'

'The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks.'

'Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...

'Namami is an oasis of comfort and sophistication in a remote location of Himachal Pradesh. In close vicinity of a hugely popular pilgrimage, its location adds a great value to the property. The hotel is equipped with all that a guest may expect of a 4-star property. The dining facilities may need an upgrade but the warmth and simplicty of the staff makes up for the deficiency in variety of cuisine. Overall a very good experience that compels one to come back and stay with them again.'

'Good place. I extended my stay.'
