'This hotel is worn out and strange location. Food in the restaurant is OK but setting is completely worn out.'

'Booked 2 cottages for a 50th birthday celebration. 1 of the cottages the plates were filthy and there was a musty smell. The other cottage we kept getting locked out and having to get management out to open the door. 'We were only stopping a night, just passing through but I wouldn’t stay here again. I was on crutches, the able bodied couple in front of us managed to get a ground floor room but I had to climb up two flights of stairs to reach our room. It was not clear when booking there wasn’t a lift. I struggled up to our room but the heat upstairs was stifling. A fan was provided but the window closed so it was just blowing hot air around. 'The common area was clean as was the linen. Staff was non existent did not realise was a self service accomodation. Parking was there but I did not need it. The room carpet could do with shampoo and the cupboard with dusting . The bathroom fixture though looked new could do with upgrade.. .'
