'Beetje gedateerde accomodatie. Men is wel bezig de buitenzijde op te knappen. Restaurant is niet heel erg bijzonder. Prijs van de gerechten is vrij prijzig voor wat je krijgt. Voor een overnachting om bijvoorbeeld whale watching te gaan doen voldoet het wel. Helaas zijn er niet veel andere opties ook het eilandje. Vond het duur betaald.'

'It was quiet and great. Stayed in the cabin duplex. Traded some beans for a wonderful authentic pork belly, rice and green onion kimchi meal from our neighbours. I know I got the better deal. It was awesome. '

'This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....'

'The Bear River location was absolutely beautiful. The aspect from the suite and the winery terrace over the valley to the slope beyond looks all the world like Burgundy. The suite is in the winery building, a converted 19th century dairy barn, and has lots of antique charm and beautifully aged wood. It was comfortably well equipped with a very comfortable bed and the hootingbofborls at night. 'Our group of four women had a super nice stay this lovely home. Judie has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. She was also very helpful in our trip planning. She had great suggestions for dinners, lunches, coffee, and sites to see. Judie’s breakfasts are lovely as well. We enjoyed her large, inviting kitchen. The entire home is full of interesting, whimsical art and more. We highly recommend this place. '

'We were two families with children and dogs and this was a perfect spot to stay for two nights. It had a beautiful view of the basin and two minutes from the ferry terminal. The owner was very welcoming and available 24/7. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The backyard was fenced so we could let the dogs out without worrying.'
