'The hotel was just less than two miles from the downtown area where we spent most of our time. Our room was quiet and clean. The staff was wonderful. They were courteous, answered all our questions, and directed us to sites around the area. We ate our meals downtown at local eateries and they were all great.'

'The only thing was that the pancake machine was not dialed in so they were under done and gummy. Fresh fruit was a welcome addition and the size of the milk was great not having to pour it out of a pitcher was nice too. Staff was friendly and courteous. '

'Great little spot to explore Clear Lake from. Our hosts were excellent and timely at answering questions!Note--short or balance challenged people would have difficulty using the microwave. It's very high!. My 6' husband could do it, but it would have been dangerous for me (with my balance issues, and only 5'2".)But we loved our stay!'

'A nice place for us to stop on our way through town and for our first time in Clear Lake. Some lamps would be a nice addition, especially in the bedrooms. There are some tricky stairs that less sure-footed guests should be aware of.'

'The lodge was everything we wanted and more. It was spacious, with every amenity we could wish for. Our most favorite aspect was its rustic charm. Nestled off the road, its location surrounded by trees, feels like you could be in the middle of nowhere, yet it’s a short distance from the lake, restaurants and other points of interest. We would heartily recommend. '
